Is There A Golf Diesel That Could Beat A Civic Type-r Integra In A Straight Drag Race?
my mate said he saw a golf diesel keep up with a type-r integra n i don’t believe him, so just wanted your opinions on the matter

Diesel engines are getting far more advanced, it depends on the type of golf but it defiantly possible, some of the 2.0 TD can produce 200bhp

Most of the newer Golfs are TDI, as in Turbo Diesel. Most of the diesel blocks are pretty strong so it is totally possible. An Civic Type-R is by no means a performance powerhouse, especially in terms of drag racing.

hell yeah! diesels are beasts, you can put a lot of boost to em and make em fast as hell!
