Los Angeles County Fairgrounds, known as FAIRPLEX, located in the City of Pomona. The home of the current site of the NHRA Winternationals and World Finals. A street sign is also errected at the starting line saying “1950 Parker Ave”, in memory of the late Los Angeles Police Chief William H.Parker who instituted that location for the general public to run their cars safely in a controlled atmosphere rather than the public streets.
